I saw what what you were saying on that witch hunter pic and I agree completely with you. Its all popularity with anime, in most cases. I think she's really taking offence to something thats not meant to be offencive. You said the right thing.

Excuse me. I never once said I didn't like her work. I never once said that it was that it was traced or anything offencive to that nature. If you will go back and read what I said then you will understand. I was trying to make sure that those who comment on her work and say things LIKE I DID... that we are not attacking her style nor artwork. Since when did you feel it was nesessary to go and comment back to those when its not your artwork to comment back on? I take this as offencive when I never once said ANYTHING BAD about your friends work.

When did I complain? I never complained. I was telling her not to take offence of what others were saying... if anything I was trying to be helpful. You are just being rude. How 'bout we quit flaming on this person's page, eh? You got something to say to us then send a note... that would be a little more appropriate, right?

The subject wouldn't come up in the first place if she was HONEST. It's not a hard thing to do! She could say "I used such-and-such a picture for reference so I could get the hang of drawing [insert subject here]" instead of saying "this is my own picture" -- then later having to come up with more lies in response to someone's suspicion. It would prevent any arguments because we ALL need practice... referencing is a good way to learn -- using a picture or a model in art class -- but lying? It's just ... not a good way to go about things. Is that so hard for you to understand?
